MARIAN JEAN RAEDEKE, age 82, of Luverne, died Monday, November 25, 2013, at the Sanford Hospice Cottage in Luverne. She was born February 2, 1931 near Lakefield to Carl and Margaret (Henricks) Anderson.   She was baptized in the Swedish Lutheran Church in Lakefield.  She attended school in Lakefield.
She was married to Peter Heeren and her four children were born of this marriage; he died of emphysema in 1969.  She married Gilbert Ommen and they were married for twenty two years before  Gilbert died of cancer in 1995.  Marian married Rev.  Robert Raedeke in 1996 in Worthington, where they lived until they moved to Luverne in 2010;  Robert died in 2010.
Marian was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington for many years.  She was most recently a member of First Presbyterian Church in Luverne where she was active with the Ladies Circles.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, crafts, puzzles, traveling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Marian is survived by her four children, Linda Anderson, Luverne; Larry Heeren, Windom; Patricia McCord, Brandon, SD; Pamela Schweigert, Baltic, SD; step son John (Vicki) Raedeke, Buffalo, MN; sister, Hilda Edwards, Jackson; brother, Leonard, Pequot Lakes, MN; sister-in-law, Alice Anderson, Jackson; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; and four brothers.
