MARILYN JOYCE KIRCHGATTER, age 78, of Luverne, formerly of St. Paul, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Luverne. She was born April 6, 1927, in St. Paul, to Silas and Ruth (Whitten) Radant. Marilyn attended Roosevelt Grade School and graduated from Humboldt High School in St. Paul Marilyn married Donn Kirchgatter in 1957, they later divorced. She worked as a hostess at the famous Gannons Restaurant in St. Paul for many years until she retired. She moved to Luverne in the late eighties and in September of 2003 she moved to the Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Center in Luverne. She loved reminiscing about the great times she had and the famous people she met while working at Gannons Restaurant. She also enjoyed reading; sewing, playing bingo and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her four children, Debbie (Will) Marsh, Northfield, MN; Sue (Al) Stroh, Luverne; Jann (Mark) Edberg, Centerville, MN; Tod (Jo) Reck, Buffalo Lake, MN; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother, Robert (Rosemary) Radant, Dickenson, ND; Maxine Schmalzried, Pembroke Pines, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Steve and Mark. Blessed Be Her Memory.
