Obituary

MARJORIE A. ANDERSON, age 66, of Worthington, died, Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Worthington Regional Hospital after a lengthy battle with a brain tumor. She was born on March 30, 1940 in Avoca, MN; to parents Henry and Katherine (Janssen) Weets. She moved to Harris, IA with her parents and attended school. She attended St. John?s Lutheran Church in Harris, IA. Marjorie was united in marriage to Edward L. Anderson on March 14, 1957 in California. They were later divorced. She worked at Lake Haven Nursing Home for 13 years before retiring from Campbell Soup Company after 17 years of employment. She was united in marriage to Timothy Breuer at Brandon, SD; on November 24, 2004. They resided on the farm that had been her home for 36 years. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Worthington. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed living in the country, cooking, gardening and frequenting rummage sales. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Timothy Breuer; three daughters, Debra Anderson, Worthington; Sherrie (Bernard) Breuer, Wilmont and Lisa (Philip) Zimmerman, Sioux Falls; five brothers, Richard (Mabel) Weets, Lakefield; Henry Weets Jr., Holland, MN; Rev. Raymond (Joanne) Weets, Runnells, IA; Roger (Marcia) Weets, Woodstock, MN; Robert (Gail) Weets, Holland, MN; two sisters, Esther (Raymond) Paplow, Westbrook, MN; Ramona Pentz, Orlando, FL; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband, two brothers, one infant brother, one sister and one grandchild.
