MARK ALAN SCHUETT, age 57, of Lakefield, died Tuesday July 16, 2024, at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, MN. Mark was born November 29, 1966, in Worthington, to Gary and Arlys (Pigman) Schuett. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux Valley. He graduated from Sioux Valley Round Lake High School.

Mark married Christy Erickson on August 11, 1990, in Raymond, SD. The couple lived in Aberdeen, SD. Mark worked in concrete construction. He worked at Jung Construction before starting his own business, "Schuett Remodel". The couple later divorced. In 2022, Mark moved in with his parents in Lakefield because of health reasons.

He was a member of ABATE. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, singing and spending time with his friends.

Mark is survived by his parents, Gary and Arlys Schuett, Lakefield; three children, Alex (Libbi) Schuett, Boxelder, SD; Erin (fiancée, Noah) Schuett, Greeley, CO; and Teri Schuett, Ft. Collins, CO; six grandchildren, Zander, Ember, Juniper and Wilder Schuett; and Eleanore and Valerie Ellefson; two sisters, Deanne (James) White, Hastings; and Carla (fiancée, James) Farrar, Stoughton, WI; a brother, James (Laura) Schuett, Worthington; five nieces & nephews, Justin, Nicholas, Heather, Dylan and Leah; a great-nephew, Pierce; three great-nieces, Alana, Violet and Kinsley; and a special friend, Michelle Anderson, Aberdeen, SD.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Schuett; two aunts, Cheryl Schuett and Marjorie (Robert) Meyer; paternal grandparents, Albert & Marie Schuett; and maternal grandparents, Melvin & Grace Pigman.

Memorial service will be 11 am Friday, August 2, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Sioux Valley, officiated by Pastor Adam Jacobson. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Sioux Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Sunset Hospice Cottage.

Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, is in charge of arrangements.
