MARK VIS, age 62, of Worthington, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Ava's House Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born May 8, 1963, in Worthington, to Larry and Marilyn (Shirkey) Vis. Mark graduated from Worthington High School in 1981. He was involved in Future Farmers of America and loved jogging and biking. He attended Worthington Community College, Rochester Community and Technical College, and North Dakota State University. After college, Mark went back to work with his parents on the family farm. He was a very active person and enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, cousins, and family. In later years, he continued biking and he loved spending time at the library and was an avid reader. Mark is survived by his five siblings: Brenda (Monte) Tolsma, Worthington; Kim (Scott) Neeb, Lake Crystal; Jacquelyn (Doyle) Bryngelson, Harris; Cherry (Scot) Schnoor, Rushmore; and Gina (Randy) Michelson, Worthington; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Pamela Groen and Teresa Bashor.

A time of fellowship will be from 4-6pm Thursday, July 24 at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Memorial Service will be 6 pm Thursday, officiated by Deacon Vern Behrends, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, which will be donated to Diabetes Research in Mark's name.
