MARK ALLEN WEISHALLA, age 65, of Brooklyn Park, died Monday, December 20, 2021, at his home. He was born on April 18, 1956 in Wadena, Minnesota to Thomas and Barbara (Vasecka) Weishalla. His youth was spent on the farm south east of Staples, MN. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Staples High School in 1974.
Mark enjoyed a fruitful career working as a machinist and engineer using his skills to design and make parts for a variety of industries. He enjoyed cheering for many Minnesota sports teams and especially loved the Minnesota Vikings. He was a caring and supportive father and friend that truly loved those around him.
He is survived by his children Brett (Julie) Weishalla and Tanya (Eric) Bullerman; mother Barbara Peterson and stepfather Richard Peterson; brothers Gary (Kristine), Jeffrey (Heidi), Roger (Judy), Randy (Sue), and Tom Weishalla; sisters Suzanne (Daniel) Smith and Laurie (Jerry) Imdieke; step brothers Ricky, Dale (Connie), Raymond (Maurene), Paul (Dawn) and Peter Peterson; grandchildren Macy, Frank, Anna, Julia, Kylie, Emma, Kate and Sophia; great granddaughter Jacy; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1969, brother Steven in 1958, grandparents, Bob and Susie Weishalla, C. J. Vasecka, Fern and Mike Swenson, Selmer and Ida Peterson.
A Memorial Mass will be Monday, at 11 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brooklyn Center. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Adrian, is assisting the family with arrangements.
