MARLYS ADELINE MEYERAAN, age 83, of Worthington, died Thursday, October 8, 2015, at her home. She was born November 20, 1931, in Garretson, SD, to Melvin and Alice (Nesheim) Berge.
Marlys married Ike Meyeraan in 1951, in Worthington. After their marriage, the couple lived in Worthington. Marlys worked in the housekeeping department at Fauskee's Nursing Home, in Worthington, for over twenty years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Worthington. Marlys volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed quilting & needlework.
Marlys is survived by her four sons, George (Elizabeth) Meyeraan, Alexandria; Roger Meyeraan, Byron; Randy (Jan) Meyeraan, Worthington; and Glen Meyeraan, Chandlerville, IL; eleven grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ike in 1992.
A Memorial service will be Monday at 11 am at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, with a time of fellowship one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Burial of cremains will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Worthington.
