MARTHA E. DADISMAN, age 96, of Worthington, died, Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born September 7, 1915 in Gilford, Montana to parents, Harm and Myrtle (Porter) Rogers. As a young girl she moved with her family to rural Wilmont. Martha attended country school at District # 71 in Nobles County and later graduated from Worthington High School. She moved to Chicago and worked at Bethany Hospital where she met her future husband Earl.
Martha was united in marriage to Earl Dadisman on June 12, 1942 at her parents farm by Wilmont, MN. They made their home in Chicago for a short time and then moved to Iowa and farmed with his parents. The family later moved to rural Wilmont and was engaged in farming, before moving to Worthington. She held various jobs in Worthington. Earl passed away in 2005 and she became a resident of Crossroads Care Center in 2006.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and sang in the church choir and belonged to the Women's Fellowship. Martha enjoyed crocheting, knitting and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Wayne) Henning, rural Brewster; two grandchildren, Harold (Angie) Henning and Ann (Mark) Heggestad, four great grandchildren, Elizabeth Henning, Kathryn Henning, Sarah Heggestad and Lloyd Heggestad; one brother, David (Lois) Rogers, rural Wilmont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Earl, five brothers and four sisters.
