MARVIN L. HINRICHS, age 64, of Adrian, died at his home on Sunday, December 23, 2012. He was born October 25, 1948, in Adrian, to Jacob and Marian (Solma) Hinrichs. Marv graduated from Adrian High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Marv and his soul-mate, Janice Everson, lived in Adrian. Marv worked at the Adrian Tile Co. before working as a custodian at the Ellsworth School. He most recently drove school bus in Adrian before retiring in 2012.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to the casino and having coffee with friends.
Marv is survived by his five children, Terry Lupkes, Juanita, NE; Neil Everson, Nebraska; Dawn (John) McEliece, Lismore; Duwayne Everson, Hastings; and Kim (Phillip) Hannan, Adrian; grandchildren, Debra (Ryan), Stephanie, Amanda, Marc (Meta), Ethan, Tristan & Khailee; great grandchildren, Alicya, Kaisin, Hailee, Hannah, William, Drew, Alannah, Connor & Clayton James; two sisters, Arlene (Jim Tanner) Rosdahl, Northwood, IA; and Ruth (John Mauch) Hinrichs, Adrian; brother, Jacob Hinrichs Jr., Ellsworth; sister-in-law, Lynn Hinrichs, Ellsworth; and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loved one, Janice Everson, in 1997; and two brothers, Robert & Ronald Hinrichs.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday at the Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Funeral will be 2 pm Friday at the Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. Burial will be in the Grand Prairie Cemetery, in Ellsworth, with full military honors.
