MARY JANE GRIMMIUS, age 62, of Worthington, died, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at her home. She was born January 27, 1948 in Worthington to her parents, August and Sena (Kluever) Frodermann. Mary graduated from Round Lake High School in 1966 and received her X-ray technician degree from Worthington Junior College. After her schooling she worked at Worthington Specialty Clinic. Mary was united in marriage on August 19, 1972 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church to Dennis Grimmius. They made their home in Worthington and she continued working at the Worthington Specialty Clinic. She later worked at the Worthington Regional Hospital as a X-ray technician and soon after was the manager of the X-ray department at the hospital. Mary retired because of health reasons in August of 2008. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and after her retirement she was a volunteer at the Manna Food Pantry and with the Hospital Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed playing cards with her brothers and sisters and going to the casino. She loved being with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mary enjoyed watching her sons play sports. She was in charge of the Worthington Hockey Association concession stand for many years, which raised money for the hockey program. Mary is survived by her husband, Dennis Grimmius, Worthington; sons, Bradley (Sheila) Grimmius, Worthington; and Wesley Grimmius and his fianc?e, Lindsay Appel, Spirit Lake, IA; two grandchildren, Haley and Cade Grimmius; nine sisters and two brothers also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four brothers-in-law.
