MARY KATHERINE ?MOLLIE? OBELE, age 99, of rural Lismore, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at the Parkview Manor Nursing Home, in Ellsworth. She was born September 9, 1907, in Leota Township, to Louis and Josie (Quinn) Obele. She attended country school district #63 in Leota Township. Molly later attended Lismore Public School and graduated from Adrian High School on June 3, 1927. Molly lived on the family farm, north of Lismore, her entire life before becoming a resident of the Parkview Manor Nursing Home in December of 2004. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, in Lismore; a charter member of the Lismore Auxiliary; & the sewing club for over fifty-nine years. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, antiques, making tatted cards & roses. Molly is survived by her two nephews, Gary (Carol) Obele, Becker; and Robert (Jeanne) Obele, Sioux Falls, SD; niece, Karon Nagel, Lismore; fourteen great nieces & nephews; and fifteen great great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William & Fred Obele; and a sister-in-law, Leona Obele. Blessed Be Her Memory.
