MAUREEN SWAIN, age 64, of Worthington, died Monday, August 28, 2023, at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born January 7, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, to Charles and Maureen (Coghlan) Stinger. She graduated from Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, PA; and later from Montgomery County Community College.

Maureen married William Swain on December 9, 2000, in Williamstown, NJ. The couple lived in New Jersey where they worked (and met) at Comar Inc. In 2003, they moved to Round Lake. They moved to Worthington in 2015. Maureen worked at Walmart and Hardees in Worthington.

She enjoyed watching game shows, playing Trivia Pursuit and NFL Football especially the Philadelphia Eagles.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Bill Swain, Worthington; son, James Stinger, Worthington; two grandchildren, Grayson and Jericho Stinger, Worthington; and a brother, Charles Stinger, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington; and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Funeral will be 11 am Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington.
