MELVINA GRACE (HEIDEBRINK) THOMPSON, age 69, of Poplar Bluff, MO, formerly of Rushmore, died Friday, July 30, 2010, at the Westwood Hills Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born July 30, 1941, on the family farm, in Little Rock Township, south of Rushmore, MN, to Harm Sr. and Anna (Boots) Heidebrink. Melvina owned and operated a bakery in Tyler. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, DeWayne (Robin) Thompson, Poplar Bluff, MO; and Clinton (fianc?, Rebecca Smith) Thompson, St. Charles, MO; three grandchildren; eight brothers, Fritz (Leona) Heidebrink, Bigelow; Virgil (Amy) Heidebrink, Sun City, AZ; George (Shirley) Heidebrink, Worthington; Jake (Ardis) Heidebrink, Madrid, IA; Harm (Harriet) Heidebrink, Buffalo; Leo (Thelma) Heidebrink, Worthington; Robert (Rita) Heidebrink, Sacred Heart; and Duane (Marilyn) Heidebrink, Madrid, IA; and two sisters, Ruth (Frank) Perrin, Amarillo, TX; and Lois (Tom) Anderson, Windom. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Lawrence.
