MILDRED IRENE LANGSETH, age 75 of Worthington, died Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born March 26, 1932, in Org, MN to parents, Arthur and Anna (Habeger) Gingerich. She attended Worthington Public School and graduated from Round Lake High School in 1950. Mildred was united in marriage to David Henry Langseth, on May 22, 1951 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington. During their marriage, the couple farmed in Indian Lake Township until 1977. Mildred also worked for Standafer Realty and later for Nickel and Associates. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Worthington. She was also very active in many organizations during her lifetime such as: Helping Hands Pregnancy Center, Worthington Christian Women, Hospital Auxiliary, ARC, The Achievement Center Board, Superintendent for the Church of Christ Sunday School, Gordians, Red Hat Ladies. She also helped organize a local Parkinson?s support group and was involved in many other volunteer organizations. Mildred enjoyed reading, crafts, traveling and especially spending time with her family. Mildred is survived by five children, LeAnn and her husband Bernie Thiner, Worthington; and their children, Adam (Holly), Mark, and Matthew (Michele); Kendall and his wife Marsha Langseth, Albert Lea, MN; and their children, Micah (Kim), Noah, and Levi; Diane and her husband Larye Mick of Worthington; and their children, Miriam, Lydia, and Hannah; Dean and his wife Amy Langseth of Worthington; and their children, Joshua, Bethany (Matt) Tjaden, and Briana; Steven and his wife Carry Langseth of Apple Valley, MN; and their children, Hannelore, Davanika, and Joven; four great-grandchildren, Collin, Shawn, Jude, and Elias; two brothers, Clyde (Margaret) Gingerich, Algona, IA; and Eugene Gingerich, Brandon, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David on March 14, 1999, two brothers, three sisters and two infant sisters.
