MINNIE L. BOOTS, age 97, of Adrian, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at the Sanford Adrian Health Care Center. She was born August 29, 1911, in rural Rushmore, to Albert and Mattie (Behrens) Heidebrink. Minnie married Henry J. Boots on September 24, 1930, in Rushmore. After their marriage, the couple farmed in the Rushmore & Wilmont areas all of their married lives. Minnie became a resident of the Sanford Adrian Health Care Center in October of 2000. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wilmont; and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening. Minnie is survived by her three daughters, Ida (Henry) Luitjens, Worthington; Rose (Willis) Homan, Adrian; and Suzanne (Mike) Loss, Brainerd; four sons, Robert J. Boots, Worthington; Daryl Boots, Rushmore; Marlyn (Helen) Boots, Worthington; and Russ (Cheryl) Boots, Phoenix, AZ; twenty grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three sisters, Pearl James, Worthington; Dora Hansen, Thousand Oaks, CA; and Georgia Siebrands, Thousand Oaks, CA; and a brother, Harold Heidebrink, Boulder City, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry, in 1998; daughter, Agnes, in 1997; daughter-in-law, Verla Boots; a sister, Katherine Burnham; and four brothers, Ekke, Ed, Carl & Wilbert Heidebrink.
