MOFTA ABDELSALAM ZEIDI, age 45, of Worthington, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at the Worthington Regional Hospital. He was born on September 3, 1961, in Benghazi, Libya to parents, Abdelsalam and Howa Zeidi. He attended school in Libya and served his country in the Libya Marines. Mofta immigrated to the United States in 1991 and he lived in Washington D.C. until moving to Sioux Falls, SD in 1992. He was employed with the John Morrell Company. In late 1992, he moved Worthington and was presently employed with Swift and Company. Mofta was united in marriage to Stacie Reese on August 10, 1996 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Worthington. Mofta was a member of the Islamic Center of Sioux Falls. He enjoyed watching the Packers play football. He loved spending time with his friends and especially his wife and children. Mofta is survived by his wife, Stacie Zeidi, Worthington; three children, Milad, Nasim, and Aisha Zeidi, all of Worthington; mother, Howa Zeidi, one brother, Milad Zeidi, and one sister, Fawzia Zeidi, all of Benghazi, Libya. He was preceded in death by his father.
