MONTANA "TANA" JO HONERMANN, age 15, of Magnolia, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident southeast of Adrian. She was born August 17, 1996, in Luverne, to Jade and Tonya (Bruhn) Honermann. Montana was about to begin her sophomore year at Adrian High School.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Magnolia where she was baptized & confirmed. She was also a member of the Adrian High School Choir and the Adrian Golf Team. She loved her cat, Gray.
Montana is survived by her parents, Jade & Tonya Honermann, Magnolia; brother, Brandon Honermann, Magnolia; paternal grandparents, Dan & Marilyn Honermann, Adrian; maternal grandparents, Rick & Linda Bruhn, Magnolia; great grandfather, Marinus Cross, Luverne; two great great grandmothers, Bessie Bendt, Pipestone; and Evelyn Bruhn, Magnolia; two uncles, Josh (April) Bruhn, Magnolia; and John (Ann) Honermann, Benson; two aunts, Shawna (Johnny) Jonas, Harrah, OK; and Danielle (Reed) Frazeur, Canby; and many many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.
Visitation will be from 2-6 pm Sunday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian; and one hour prior to the service at the elementary school on Monday. Funeral will be 11 am Monday at the Adrian Elementary School, officiated by Pastor Kristi Franken. Burial will be at 2:30 pm Monday at the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Ellsworth.
