NICHOLE D. JOHNSON, age 39, of Worthington died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  She was born on June 18, 1975 in Colorado Springs, CO to parents, Del and Arlene (Elness) Johnson. Nichole attended school in Edmond, OK and graduated from Mankato School of Cosmetology. She worked in Worthington and Windom before opening her own salon. Nichole found joy in serving her clients until illness forced her to close.
Nichole spent her time creating art. She was an avid reader and liked music and movies. She had a love of animals, a kind heart and saw beauty in all things.
She is survived by her mother, Arlene Flynn, Worthington; sisters, Debra (Jeff) Baumgarn, Worthington; Julie (Sean) Murphy, Dallas, TX; Natalie (Jim Lawson) Hausler, Granbury, TX; nephews, Evan (Emily) Baumgarn and Callan Murphy, nieces, Allison Baumgarn, Erin Murphy and Delainy Hausler and her beloved cat, Jynx.
She was preceded in death by her father, Del Johnson and step-father, Dave Flynn.
A time of gathering will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington.  A private committal will take place at a later date.
