PATRICK J. (PAT) O'CONNOR, age 66, of Brewster, MN; died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born on February 16, 1949 in Heron Lake, MN; to parents Lawrence and Mary (Weinandt) O'Connor. Pat received his education at Sioux Valley School and graduated in 1967. After High School he attended Worthington Junior College. After his schooling he worked at Armour and Company as a billing clerk.
Pat was united in marriage to Jean Wigersma on June 26, 1971 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brewster. They made their home in Worthington for one year and then in 1972 moved to Brewster. He was the plant controller at JBS and retired on March 22, 2015, after 45 plus years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a volunteer fireman in Brewster for ten years. Pat enjoyed woodworking, hunting, golfing and his grandsons and family. He also enjoyed playing cards with good friends and family.
Pat is survived by his wife Jean O'Connor, Brewster, MN; two daughters, Jennifer O'Connor, Friends forever Matt Zellmer, & Mollie Herman, White Bear Lake, MN; and Shannon O'Connor, special friend Jerry Haberman, Heron Lake, MN; four grandchildren, Alex Eisenbeis, Branden O'Connor, Colten O'Connor and Aidan O'Connor; brother, Larry (Shirley) O'Connor.  Spencer, IA; sisters, Rosemary (Larry) Noble, Hastings, MN; and Alice O'Connor, Brewster, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bernard and John O'Connor and sister, Marilyn Jandera-Larson.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington with a rosary service at 7 PM and continue on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Church.
The Funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brewster with Father Patrick Arens officiating. Burial will be at the Parish Cemetery near Brewster.
