PATRICIA R. CAUWELS, age 82, of Bellevue, NE, formerly of Magnolia, died Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha, NE.

She was born on March 3, 1942 in Magnolia, MN to Leo and Vivian (Lange) Cauwels.  She graduated from Magnolia High School in 1960.

She lived in Michigan, Colorado, and Nebraska after she left Magnolia.  She worked as an accountant for Head Start, Mutual of Omaha, and First National Bank of Omaha.

She loved playing cards, especially pinochle, doing crafts and painting.

Pat is survived by her son, Jason Cauwels, Jason Cauwels, Bellevue, NE; 11 brothers and sisters, Ken Cauwels, Luverne, MN;  Shirley Holling, Brentwood, CA;  Red (Cindy) Cauwels, Adrian, MN; Jay Cauwels, Las Cruces, NM; Rick Cauwels, Sherburn, MN; Bob (Linda) Cauwels, Ellsworth, MN;  Colette Cauwels, Rosemount, MN; Colleen (Chuck) Anderson, Fairmont, MN; Becky (Bill) House, Phoenix, OR; Tammy (Brent) Gremban, Englewood, CO and Donna (Greg) Heidecker, Lakota, IA;  sister-in-law Coleen Cauwels and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at St Catherine Catholic Cemetery in Luverne, with Father Gerald Kosse officiating.
