PATRICIA AGNES KELLEN, age 66, of Worthington, died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Lakefield. She was born December 4, 1948 in Luverne, MN; to parents Leander and Frona (Serie) Kellen. She was raised on a farm north of Ellsworth and attended St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1966.
Pat worked in Luverne at Ben's Bakery and Nelson's Department Store before moving to Worthington. She began working at Sather's in Round Lake in 1970. Through various names and corporate changes she retired in 2012.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Worthington. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cribbage.
Pat is survived by two brothers, Bob (Arlene) Kellen, Lakefield, MN; and David Kellen, Worthington, MN; two sisters, Alice (John) Schulte, Albert Lea, MN; and Judy (Dan) Grunwald, Ventura, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Edna Sweeeney.
Funeral Mass will be 2 pm Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Fr. James Callahan and Deacon Vern Behrends. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. A private burial will be later at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Ellsworth.
