Obituary

PAUL NASERS, age 72, of Worthington, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Marshall, MN. He was born November 8, 1939 in Sibley, IA; to parents Thomas and Ann (Fox) Nasers. He was baptized at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Sibley and received his first communion and was confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Worthington.
Paul was united in marriage to Teresa Arens on June 8, 1963 in Wilmont, MN. The couple lived in Worthington and they lived briefly in Fairmont and Byron, MN; and moved back to Worthington in 1974. He was involved with sales and worked for Singer Company for 11 years before becoming self employed. He was also a member of the Army National Guard from 1962 until 1978.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Worthington and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and served as an Eucharistic minister. Paul enjoyed playing softball and was an avid Twins and Vikings fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved going to his grandchildren's sporting events and other activities. He was a caring and giving man and loved visiting and meeting people and was a man of God. Paul also enjoyed spending time at the Country Side Inn in Adrian.
Paul is survived by his wife, Teresa Nasers, Worthington; children, Troy Nasers, Worthington; Paula (Paul) Krumm, Worthington; Trent (Tina) Nasers, Fargo, ND; Tron Nasers, Marshall; Travis (Amy) Nasers, Roberts, WI; Patsy (Joe) Kinley, Worthington; and Trevor (fiancé Brittany Berglund) Nasers, Adrian; grandchildren, Traci, Nicole, Aaron, Jayda, Brittani, Abrielle, Jonathan, Jennifer, Amber, Jake, Bailey, Kali, Lily, Teagan, Joey, Jared, Paige and Talia; brother, George (Leila) Nasers, Worthington; sisters, Shirley (Larry) Wagner, Heron Lake and Kay (Herbert) Scheitel, Worthington; sister-in-law, Margaret Bachmeier, Modesto, CA; brother-in-law Joe (Eloise) Arens, Grass Valley, CA; sisters-in-law Carolyn (Bob) Bruns, Worthington and Bonnie (Bill) Kumm, Northville, MI. and special friends Tim and Cindy Berglund, Adrian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Carolyn Nasers and a sister, Vera Nasers, brothers-in-law, John Arens, Jim Arens, Gregg Bibbs and Zach Bachmeier, a nephew Matt Arens and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alphons and Rose Arens.
