PEGGY JO HARMS, age 58, of Luverne, died Friday, September 16, 2016, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born October 21, 1957 in Gardena, California.

Peggy married Wayne Harms on October 21, 1994, in Sioux Falls, SD. The couple lived in Luverne. Peggy loved helping people. She worked in Luverne as a waitress before working at various places assisting with the handicapped.

She enjoyed helping at the Special Olympics, cooking and her pets.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Wayne Harms, Luverne; daughter, Caisie Shields, California; four grandchildren, Kyler, Ayden, KyAnn & Kira.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cali; mother, Dorothy; and her Nana Croswell.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

Dingmann Funeral Home, in Luverne, is assisting the family with arrangements.
