PHYLLIS JEAN ALMBERG, age 94, of Worthington, died Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Sibley Specialty Care Center, in Sibley, IA. She was born October 18, 1925, in Garden City, SD, to Hadley and Florence (Middleworth) Fredrickson. Phyllis married Gordan Harold Almberg on August 11, 1951 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington. They lived in and around Worthington. Phyllis is survived by her two children, Kristy (Bill) Petrich, Afton, MN; and Brian (Jodi) Almberg, Worthington, MN; and two grandchildren, Evan (Taylor) Almberg and Lucia Petrich. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordy on November 29, 2006; and a brother, Hadley "Babe" (Connie) Fredrickson. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Worthington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
