REGINA A. HONERMANN, age 90, of Adrian, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born October 9, 1920, in Adrian, to John and Barbara (Wallendorf) Jueneman. Regina attended both St. Adrian Catholic School and Adrian Elementary School. She lived in Adrian all of her life. Regina married LeRoy Honermann on October 9, 1939, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Wilmont. LeRoy & Regina started their married life on a farm north of Adrian and lived there for fifty-six years. Regina moved to Adrian in 1994. She was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church; lifelong member of the WCCW, Christian Mothers and the Catholic Daughters of America. Regina was also Past President of the Adrian Senior Citizens & Site Council. She enjoyed baking, quilting, sewing and playing Pinochle. Regina is survived by her seven children, Barbara Roetzel, Mitchell, SD; Carole (Don) Shorter, Adrian; Daniel (Marilyn) Honermann, Adrian; Gene (Irene) Honermann, Dallas, TX; Roy (Karen) Honermann, Adrian; Rick (Diane) Honermann, Adrian; and Tim (Judy) Honermann, Adrian; twenty grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Reuter, Lismore; brother, John Jr. (Marlene) Juenemann, Wilmont; two brothers-in-law, Gilbert (Betty) Honermann, Rochester; and Vic (Amy) Honermann, Mitchell, SD; and one sister-in-law, Kathleen Jueneman, Worthington. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy on July 4, 1996; son Doug, in 1971; infant grandson, Mark, in 1964; son-in-law, Daryl Roetzel, on December 19, 2010; and four brothers, Ted, Ervin Cyril & Edwin Jueneman.
