ROBERT "ROBIE" RAY DIMMICK, age 48, of Jackson, died suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his home. He was born September 6, 1970, in Fort Dodge, IA, to Raymond and Ronna (Folkers) Dimmick. He attended school in Worthington.
After finishing high School, Robie moved to Texas. He later moved back to southwestern Minnesota. Robie moved to Jackson in 2012 where he worked at HitchDoc. He enjoyed fishing, old muscle cars and riding his motorcycle.
Robie is survived by his daughter, Brittani Taylor, Ft. Worth, TX; two grandchildren, Kiley Ray and Elena; father, Raymond (friend, Cheryl) Dimmink, Burbank, SD; mother, Ronna (Doug) Bahr, Fulda; four siblings, Rachel (Darren) Ponto, Worthington; Jennifer (Martin) Zamorano, Sibley, IA; Jamie (John) Frame, Ft. Worth, TX; and Chad Dimmick, Yankton, SD; six nieces, Sydney, Taylor and Bailey Ponto; Annor and Emma Plueger; and Karalyn Frame; four step siblings, Doug (Rita) Bahr, Timothy Bahr, Teneka Bahr and Clifford (Anna) Bahr; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his niece, Paige Fisher; and his step mother, Kay Dimmick.
A memorial service will be 10:30 Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Gary Andersen. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. A private family committal of cremains will be at a later date.
