ROBERT DAVID EDWARDS, age 61, of Brewster, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at his home. He was born February 27, 1948, in Sioux City, IA, to Glen and Frances (Orth) Edwards. Bob moved with his family to Worthington in 1964. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1966. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bob worked at Campbell?s Soup Co. then at Armour?s for eighteen and a half years. He also worked for Highland Manufacturing for ten years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of American Lutheran Church in Worthington. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking & tinkering around his home. Bob is survived by his four children, Robert Edwards, Worthington; Michael (Janette) Edwards, Heron Lake; Jeremy (Laura) Edwards, Sioux Falls, SD; and Lisa Powell, Harrisburg, SD; mother, Frances Edwards, Worthington; twelve grandchildren; and six sisters, Shirley (Robert) Ebel, Sierra Vista, AZ; Marcia Solomon, Scottsdale, AZ; Paula (Jim) Laffrenzen, Worthington; Nancy (Steve) Chergosky, Edina; Susan (Michael) Loosbrock, Fulda; and Julie Edwards, Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and uncles.
