ROBERT "BOB" L. REDDER, age 93, of Luverne, died Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Sanford Luverne Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1920, in Adrian, to Anton and Frances Redder. He attended St. Adrian Catholic School.
Bob married Luella Meier in 1950, in Ellsworth. After their marriage, the couple lived in Adrian. Bob worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation for over thirty five years. He retired in 1982. The couple moved to Luverne in 1994.
He was a former member of St. Adrian Catholic Church and a current member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne. Bob volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Minnesota Twins.
Bob is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony & Jo Redder, Luverne; and a sister, Alice Redder, Edina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Luella on April 11, 1996; brother, Clarence Redder; and five sisters, Ann Pfannes, Hilda Rust, Sr. Edna Redder, Lois Kuster and Rita Pfauth.
A time of fellowship will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. A Memorial Mass will be 11 am Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, in Luverne, officiated by Fr. Thomas Jennings. Burial of cremains will be 1 pm Wednesday at St. Adrian Catholic Cemetery.
