ROBERT ?BOB? SWEENEY, age 66, of Lismore, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. He was born January 25, 1941 in Luverne, to Michael and Meta (Hansen) Sweeney. He attended grade school at District 34, in rural Lismore and later attended St. Anthony Catholic School in Lismore. Robert farmed on the family farm in rural Lismore and later began working for A R Woods in Luverne. After A R Woods closed, he started working for John Morrell in Sioux Falls, SD. He moved to the South Shore Care Center in Worthington in 1996 due to failing health. He enjoyed fishing, farming, and spending time with his friends and family. Bob is survived by five brothers and sisters, Mary (Norm) Engelson, Rushmore; Michael (Leola) Sweeney, Luverne; Jim (Darlene) Sweeney, Osseo; Ruth (Walt) Ashworth, Alberton, GA; Dan (Deb) Sweeney, Maple Grove; sister-in-law, Judy Sweeney, Minneapolis; nineteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David Sweeney. Blessed Be His Memory.
