ROGER GENE WESTENDORF, age 84, of Worthington, died Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Windom Area Health. He was born February 10, 1941, in Mason City, IA, to Charles and Irma (Kraft) Westendorf. Roger married Audrey Lemon on February 13, 1960, in Mason City, IA. The couple lived in Alexander, IA for a short time where Roger worked as a farmhand. In 1964, they moved to Worthington. Roger worked at Armours and Firestone, in Worthington, before he began working at Schaap Sanitation. He enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage and watching football & baseball. Roger is survived by his wife, Audrey Westendorf, Worthington; two daughters, Tamra (Tom) Wiese, Round Lake; and Rhonda (Jeff) Razor, New Castle, IN; seven grandchildren, Kaela (Kyle) Christakos, Phoenix, AZ; Kyle (Meegan) Wiese, North Mankato; Joshua (Tricia) Taarud, Prior Lake; Angela (Thomas) Cunningham, Round Lake; Amber (fiancé, Chad) Taarud, Fulda; Renee (Josh) Madden; Mooreland, IN; and Kody (Ashley) Razor, New Castle, IN; seventeen great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Marlow, King, NC; and a sister-in-law, Janice Westendorf, Ankeny, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Cindy; two grandchildren, Kristen Razor and Richard Bach Jr.; son-in-law, Rick Bach; and two brothers, Charles & Robert Westendorf.

A time of fellowship will be from 4-6 pm Friday, Nov. 7 at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
