RONALD POLZINE, age 86, of Rushmore, died Monday, March 17, 2025, at Sanford Worthington Medical Center.  He was born February 16, 1939, in Worthington, to Henry and Ruth Ann (Verslius) Polzine.  He worked on the family farm and attended school in Nobles County while he was growing up. He married Lavonne Froderman on April 8, 1961, at the Round Lake Lutheran Church.  They farmed north of Rushmore until they retired in 2015.  Ron also worked at JayCox Implement in Worthington for 30 years while he farmed.  He enjoyed the farm life and loved to ride his ATV around looking at the land and crops.  He also enjoyed watching All Star Wrestling and going to the local Casinos. He is survived by his two children, Julie (Clark) VanWatermeulen, Rushmore; Steven Polzine, Worthington; eleven grandchildren, Kasey Polzine, Dustin Polzine, Cody Polzine, Skylar Polzine, Keagan Polzine, Katarina Polzine, Natasha Polzine, Jennifer Hoskins, Katie (Tyson) Baisac, Joshua VanWatermeulen, Cassie VanWatermeulen; four great-grandchildren, Eli Hoskins, Anela Baisac, Lane Ring, Luke Ring; and sister, Linda Werkman, Rushmore Ron is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Diane Polzine and Jane Polzine.

Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home. Funeral will be 11:00 am Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington with Pastor James Sickmeyer officiating. Burial will be at Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the service.
