ROSALIA CATHERINE WOLTJER, age 93, of Worthington, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the Sanford Worthington Medical Center. She was born September 30, 1925, in Larkin Township, rural Lismore, to Charles and Clara (Bullerman) Henning. She attended country school near Lismore Dist. #87.

Rosie married Nick Woltjer on February 26, 1946, at St. Adrian Catholic Church. The couple farmed six miles south of Adrian in Little Rock Township until 1973. Rosie also worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home and Hospital until retiring in 1995. In 1993, they moved to Worthington and were Park Attendants at Olson Park.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington, where she volunteered with funeral lunches; Guild #10; Red Cross; Grey Ladies; and volunteered with RSVP. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning, baking, cooking and sewing for her grandchildren.

Rosie is survived by her two sons, Steve (Deb) Woltjer, Grand Junction, CO; and Rick (Jackie) Woltjer, Worthington; four grandchildren, Robert (Amanda) Woltjer, Michael Woltjer, Jennifer (Jesse) Thies and Kelvin (friend, Natalia) Gutierrez; three great-grandchildren, Makenna, Nicholas and Eva Rose; seven siblings, Virgil "Hap" (Arlene) Henning, Adrian; Mary Ann Reining, Eagle Bend; Alfred (Jeanette) Henning, Worthington; Les (Sandy) Henning, Adrian; Donna Deutsch, Luverne; Betty Deutsch, Luverne; and Jean Lupkes, Browerville; and three sisters-in-law, Carol Henning, Adrian; Loretta Henning, Sioux Falls, SD; and Rosie Henning, Adrian.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick on April 28, 2004; a sister, Cecelia Altman; and three brothers, Norb, Vern & Frank Henning.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26th from 4-7 pm at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 27th at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Fr. James Callahan and Deacon Vern Behrends. A private family burial will take place later at St. Mary Cemetery.
