ROSALIE CRAWFORD FENSKE, age 68, of Worthington, died, Saturday, December 9, 2006 at her home. She was born October 4, 1938, in Hampton, IA to parents Fay Alton and Geraldine (Clark) Crawford. Rosalie lived many places but grew up in Hampton, IA under the care of her grandparents, Albert and Goldie Crawford. In 1954 Rosalie moved to Round Lake to live with Paul and Geraldine Reed and attended Round Lake Public School; graduating in 1955. Rosalie also worked as a waitress at the Gobbler Caf? during this time. After graduation, Rosalie attended the Glenwood Hills School of Psychiatric Nursing, in Golden Valley, MN; graduating in 1957. On March 22, 1957, Rosalie married Robert Walter Fenske at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Worthington. The couple farmed east of Worthington for 13 years and then moved to rural Fulda. During this time they lived with their son, Kevin until Bob?s death in October of 1988. Rosalie then moved into Worthington. Rosalie was employed at the Northland Mall for many years working for Gordon?s Hallmark for 17 years and Leutholds Clothiers for four years. Her most recent employment was with Lewis Chiropractic as a receptionist, chiropractic assistant and bookkeeper. She is survived by her son, Kevin Fenske and his fianc?e Michelle Miller, Maplewood, MN; one step-granddaughter, Mary Miller, two brothers, Robert Crawford, Las Vegas, Nevada; and Terry Durregger, Tempe, AZ; one sister, Deanna Bies, Rapid City, SD; one uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends and very special friends and neighbors, Colleen Holtrop, Rita and Doyle Harms. Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, and several uncles. In Lieu of Flowers memorials are to be given to her son as they will be distributed accordingly to her wishes.
