ROSE MARY BOOMGAARDEN, age 80, of Worthington, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington. She was born July 7, 1941, in Worthington, to Robert and Lillie (Ritter) Knittel. She graduated from Brewster High School.

Rose married Okke Boomgaarden on June 13, 1959. The couple lived in Brewster. She worked at the Bank in Brewster for over twenty five years.

Rose is survived by her two daughters, Cindy (Roger) Adams, Long Lake; and Michelle Fry, Arizona; four grandchildren, Amanda & Madison Adams; and Julia Ravensmyth & Talon (Sarah) Morrill; and two sisters, Barbara Kruse, Adrian; and Louise Volk, Apple Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Okke.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Worthington, is in charge of arrangements.
