ROSELLA (RITE) BRUNK, age 79, of Rushmore, died, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Sunset Cottage in Worthington. She was born August 4, 1933 in Lake Wilson, MN; to parents Arie and Lanora (Holm) VanKlei. Rosella graduated from Worthington High School.
Rosella was united in marriage to Arnold H. Brunk on August 23, 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church in Rushmore. They made their home in Rushmore where she worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Rushmore.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School. Rosella took great pride in her children and grandchildren and the light of her life was her first great grandchild. She enjoyed woodworking, yard work and gardening.
Rosella is survived by her children, Russell (Sharie) Brunk, La Cresent, MN; and Lynn (Tammy) Brunk, Worthington, MN; two grandchildren, Jamie (Justin) Koball, Sioux Falls, SD and Mike Brunk, Worthington, MN; and one great grandchild, Garret Koball; sisters, LaVera Wick, Rushmore, MN; and Joyce (Herb) Roetgers, Stillwater, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold on June 27, 2004; granddaughter Jada Brunk, and one sister Marge Ritchie.
