RUDOLPH "RUDY" WINTER, age 78, of Mankato, formerly of Ellsworth, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato. He was born April 14, 1939, in Ellsworth, to Lee and Stella (Boman) Winter. He attended country school.

Rudy married Diane Arends on December 1, 1977, in Sioux Falls, SD. The couple lived in Adrian, Ellsworth and Worthington. Rudy farmed and worked for Bullerman Farms. The couple moved to Mankato in the late 1980's where Rudy worked for Embers and MRCI.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Diane Winter, Mankato; and son, Steven Arends, Mankato.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Shelly Arends, in 2004.

A time of fellowship will be at 1 pm Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian. Burial will be at 2 pm Monday at the Bethel Reformed Cemetery south of Ellsworth.
