SADIE CLARA COYOUR, age 100, was born on March 24, 1912, in Bloom Township, Nobles County, MN, the daughter of Clarence and Alice (Coyour) Hurlbut. Sadie attended country school and spent her childhood growing up in the Wilmont area. She worked as a farmer, bus driver, grocery store clerk, mercantile store owner, and owned and operated the Wilmont Café, bowling alley and bar. She married Earl Coyour in 1972. She was a member of Wilmont Presbyterian Church, Ladies Aid, and the Wilmont Garden Club. She enjoyed family reunions, fishing, weaving rugs, sewing, gardening, making donuts and nightshade pies, playing Dirty Clubs, telling a good joke and spending time with family and friends.
Sadie died on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Adrian Country Living Cottages, Adrian.
Sadie is survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alice Coyour, five brothers: Carl, Orrin Erma), Freddie, (Rose) Clarence (Helen) and Milo (Betty); six sisters: Addie Maske, Edith Peterson, Jeanetta Hindt, Dorthella Hindt, Alvera Bremer and Alice Schroer.
