SANA THONGLYVONG, age 49, of Worthington, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1960, in Savannakhet, Laos, to parents, Chanma and Say Thonglyvong. He attended school in Laos. In 1981 he came to the United States and lived in Philadelphia, PA and later moved to Worthington. Sana married Khambao Xayavong on February 12, 1984 in Worthington. He was currently employed with Swift and Company. He was a member of the Lao Temple; he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing keyboard with his band. He also enjoyed walking around the lake with his wife, Kham and was very active within the Lao community. Sana was always joking and smiling even after he got sick. He is survived by his wife, Khambao Thonglyvong, Worthington; three children, David and his fianc?e Dana Philavanh, Savage; Daniel Thonglyvong, Worthington; and Ricky Thonglyvong, Worthington; mother and father in-law, Inxiane and Khamphao Xayavong, Worthington; four brothers and three sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
