Scott Jay Homan, age 61, of Adrian, died Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD. He was born July 2, 1964, in Adrian, to Willis and Rose (Boots) Homan. Scott graduated from Adrian High School in 1982. He then graduated from Jackson Vo-Tech with a degree in Auto Body Repair.
Scott married Robin Folkers on April 28, 2001, in Luverne. The couple lived in Adrian. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Madison, who became the most important part of his life. They later divorced.
Scott worked at Jack’s Auto & Collision, in Ellsworth, for over forty years. He retired in 2022 as a result of medical issues after he broke his hip.
He was a member of A.B.A.T.E.. He enjoyed archery, shooting darts, riding his motorcycle and restoring vehicles. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of the open road, and the pride he took in the life he built and the people he loved.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Madison Homan, Rushmore; parents, Willis & Rose Homan, Adrian; three siblings, Dean (Jessica) Homan, Northfield; Todd (Deb) Homan, Adrian; and Sara Homan, Adrian; three nieces, Harlie (friend, Quentin) Swanson, Luverne; Ella Homan, Northfield; and Claire Homan, Northfield; and two great-nephews, William & Colt Swanson, Luverne.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9 to 11 am, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian, MN. Funeral will be Saturday at 11, at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Adrian, MN, officiated by Pastor John Mitchem. Burial will be at the Adrian Cemetery following the funeral service.
