SCOTT FRANCIS KOEHNE, age 57, of Worthington, died Monday, January 4, 2016, at his home. He was born August 13, 1958, in Albert Lea, to Francis and Colleen (Probst) Koehne. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1977.
Scott lived in Hartland, & Lismore before moving to Worthington in 1965. He then moved to Fulda and he returned to Worthington in 2001. Scott worked at Quality Refrigeration, JBS and Campbell Soup Company in Worthington.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. Scott enjoyed bowling, fishing, sports statistics and researching lake property.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Samantha Koehne, Red Wing; three grandsons, Alex, Riley & Auron; parents, Francis & Colleen Koehne, Worthington; five siblings, Debra (Rick) Carlson, Rushford; Stacey (Ryan) Rutzen, Worthington; Michelle (Mark) Johnson, Sibley, IA; Tom (Lisa) Koehne, Red Wing; and Mark (Lisa) Koehne, Pipestone; and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Funeral Mass will be 11 am Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Fr. James Callahan & Deacon Vern Behrends. A private burial will be at a later date.
