STANLEY ROBERT ARENDS JR., age 72, of Ellsworth, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at his home. He was born in Adrian, on November 9, 1948, to Stanley Sr. and Marie Annabelle (Allen) Arends. He attended Ellsworth High School. Stanley lived in Ellsworth all of his life. He worked as a carpenter with his father; and at Walmart in Worthington. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting. Stanley is survived by his four sisters, Arlene Tolsma, Dee (Roger) Kilker, Paula Grafing and Holly (Mike Fuerstenberg) Rehborg; nieces & nephews, Brian Tolsma, Alicia (Brian) Norem, Doug (Brenda), Darin (Tara) and Jason Kilker, Heidi and Brandon (Emily) Grafing, Nicole (Craig) and Trina Meyeraan, Jerrod (Julia) Rehborg and McKenzie (Jesse) Rosales; many great nieces & nephews; and many great-great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lorraine Meyeraan; a brother-in-law, John Tolsma; and a great niece.

The family requests that masks be worn.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Nov. 6, at 2pm at the Ellsworth Community Center. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the community center. Burial will be in the Grand Prairie Cemetery in Ellsworth.
