Obituary

STANLEY P. ROSENBERG, age 84, of Worthington, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Franklin Health Care Center in Franklin, MN. He was born November 17, 1922 in Rushmore, MN; to parents Edward and Clara (Wick) Rosenberg. He attended rural school in Nobles County. Stanley served his nation during World War II serving in the South Pacific with the 41st Infantry Division. After his honorable discharge from the United States Army he was engaged in farming. Stanley was united in marriage to Madeline Stephan on June 15, 1949. After their marriage they farmed around the Reading Area. He was a member of St. Matthew?s Lutheran Church in Worthington and also of the VFW in Worthington. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and welding. He is survived by daughters, Suzanne (Steve) Aagesen, Paynesville and Nancy Clark, Silver Lake. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Norman Rosenberg, Burnsville and a sister, Phyllis (Gene) Strouth, Strandburg, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Madeline on July 30, 2002; two brothers Raymond and Morris and a sister Beverly Meyer.
