STEVE LEWIS HAMILTON, age 61, of Luverne, died Monday, September 12, 2016, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester. He was born November 30, 1954, in Tennessee to Lewis and Frankie (Erlane) Hamilton. He served his country in the United States Army and the United States Marine Corp.

Steve married Danelle Hendry on December 18, 1986, in Jacksonville, FL.

Steve is survived by his wife, Danelle Hamilton, Luverne; and three children, Nicholas Hamilton, Luverne; Cyrus Hamilton, Sioux Falls, SD; and Lynn Hamilton, Pipestone.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1-3 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne. Military honors provided by the Luverne American Legion & VFW will be at the Funeral Home at 3pm. A private family burial service will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
