Steven "Fresca" Duane Bullerman

    STEVEN “FRESCA” DUANE BULLERMAN, age 72, of Adrian, died Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born April 8, 1953, in Adrian, to Duane and Dolores (Schutz) Bullerman. Fresca graduated from Adrian High School in 1971. He later graduated from Minnesota West Community College, in Worthington, before attending the University of Minnesota. Three months before graduation, his grandfather’s farm came up for sale and he decided farming was his calling.

    Fresca met Susie Henning in August of 1975 and literally swept her off her feet at Ping’s Bar. They were married on September 11, 1976, at St. Adrian Catholic Church. The couple worked side by side on the farm north of Adrian for fifty years.

    He was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Fresca enjoyed golfing and the occasional trip to the casino, but his true passion was farming. He loved field work and feeding his cattle, dedicating his days to the life he cherished most. The only thing he took greater pride in than his farm was his family, who always knew, whether spoken or not, that every bit of his hard work was for them.

    Fresca is survived by his wife, Susie Bullerman, Adrian; two children, Jeff (Tawni) Bullerman, Adrian; and Bonnie (Sean) Belliveau, Buffalo, WY; ten grandchildren, Sutton, Crew, Sage and Coyer Bullerman; and Landen, Brynlee, Aubrey, Colten, Jase and Brandt Belliveau; sister, Sharon Gonnerman, Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Lane (Kim) Bullerman, Adrian, MN; and a brother-in-law, Rick Aldrich, Madison, SD.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kris Aldrich; and a brother-in-law, Keith Gonnerman.

    Visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday, March 15 at St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian, with Parish Prayers at 2 pm; visitation also one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Monday, March 16 at St. Adrian Catholic Church officiated by Monsignor Richard Colletti. Burial will be in the St. Adrian Cemetery.
