SUSAN RENE' DYKEMA, age 53, of Fulda, formerly of Worthington, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD, due to complications from ALS. She was born May 16th, 1965 in Hendricks, to Roger and Janice (Roberts) Bergjord.

Susan was married to Howard Dykema in 1994. Howard passed away suddenly in 1997.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her family. She also enjoyed running her own karaoke business, CSI Entertainment, with her fiancé, Curtis DesLauries.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Kyle) Timmerman; two grandchildren, Sullivan and Sawyer, all of Lakefield; son, Dustin (fiancé, Charlotte Carroll), Dykema Austin; mother, Janice Bergjord, Fulda; two brothers, Brian (Jo) Kanne, Rosemount; and Marc (Don) Bergjord, Britton, SD; sister, Jeanne Koopman (Drew Oakland), Fulda; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger; husband, Howard; sister, Tammy; and fiancé, Curtis.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, November 3 from 3-6 pm at the Fulda American Legion Club. A private burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
