TAM THI NGUYEN, age 78, of Worthington, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born on October 20, 1931 in Hanoi, Vietnam, to parents Huyen Nguyen and Dao Thi No. She went to school in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 1975, Tam moved to Sioux City, Iowa and in 1976, she moved to Worthington. She worked for Campbell Soup Company until retiring. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. In August of 2009, she was diagnosed with bone cancer and moved to Crossroads Care Center. Tam is survived by her special friend, Cua Le Phat, Worthington; his children, Kiet (Lien Chung) Le, Worthington, Dung (Phuong Luong) Le, Ohio; Hue Le, Sibley, IA; and their children, Kevin Le, Uyen Le, and Jamie Le.
