TAMMY M. DeSPLINTER, age 39, of Luverne, died Monday, February 13, 2006, at the Sioux Valley Hospital, in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born March 9, 1966, in Freeman, SD, to Duane and Joy (Luke) Christensen. Tammy graduated from Viborg High School in 1984; and later graduated from Mount Marty College, in Yankton, SD, in 1989. She served in the United States Army Reserves for ten years in Sioux Falls, SD. Tammy married Randy DeSplinter on September 14, 1991, at St. Catherine?s Catholic Church, in Luverne. After their marriage, the couple lived in Luverne. Tammy worked at the Rock County DAC; the Palasades Manor, in Garretson, SD; and the Southwestern Youth Services, in Magnolia. She was a member of St. Catherine?s Catholic Church, in Luverne; and the WCCW. Tammy enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors. She loved sports, especially attending her sons hockey, football & baseball games. Tammy is survived by her husband, Randy DeSplinter, Luverne; two sons, Chad & Cole DeSplinter, Luverne; father, Duane Luke, Luverne; two brothers, Tom (Brandi) Luke, Luverne; and Todd Luke, Luverne; and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy Luke. Blessed Be Her Memory.
