Thomas Gross, age 83, of Worthington was born on April 15, 1927 on the family farm near Orrin, North Dakota. Tom spent the early years of his life attending school and working with his parents and siblings on the farm. He continued to live in North Dakota until moving to St. Paul in the fall of 1951 where he was employed at Armour. Tom was united in marriage to Louis Schlosser on October 19, 1953. To this union one son, Dale, was born in 1955. Tom and his family moved to Worthington, Minnesota in 1973 where Tom continued his employment with Armour. He retired in 1983 and continued living at his home until the summer of 2008. Tom enjoyed his final years at the Golden Living Center in Wabasso, Minnesota. He passed away on October 29, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Tom is survived by his son, Dale Gross of Worthington. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise and his parents. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 3, at 11 AM at St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery officiated by Vern Behrens.
