TRAVIS JAMES WEISS, age 39, of Adrian, died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Sandford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born December 7, 1967 in Adrian to parents Ed and Mary (Cox) Weiss. Travis graduated from Adrian High School in 1986 and attended Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls for two years studying diesel mechanics. After his schooling he worked in Sioux Falls as a diesel mechanic. Travis was united in marriage to Wendy Kerr on June 3, 1995 at the Zion Luthern Church in Sioux Falls. They lived in Sioux Falls and in 1996 moved to Adrian. He was employed in Milford, IA at Syndergaard Excavating. He was also involved in farming. He was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church in Adrian. He enjoyed all motor sports and especially motorcycling. Travis is survived by his wife, Wendy Weiss, Adrian; children, Jackie Brown, Rushmore; Sydnie and Josie Weiss, Adrian; parents, Ed and Lorie Weiss, Adrian; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Beverly Kerr, Sioux Falls; brothers and sisters, Maria (Al) Ahlers, Fulda; Andy (Jill) Weiss, Adrian; Laura (Steve Loosbrock) Weiss, Apple Valley, MN; and Marty (Brandi) Weiss, Adrian; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Weiss in 2001. Blessed Be His Memory.
