VICKI LYNN HENNING, age 70, of Adrian, died Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Ava’s House Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born August 1, 1955, in Slayton, to Dale and Lillian (Johnson) Staples. She graduated from Slayton High School and attended Vo-Tech.

    Vicki married Joseph Henning on December 23, 1993, in Worthington. The couple lived in Adrian. Vicki worked at Campbell’s Soup, in Worthington, before starting her Daycare business in Adrian. She enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling to Casinos, visiting with her brothers, her weekly visits with Rosie, caring for her daycare kids, a good glass of wine and especially her family.

    Vicki is survived by her daughter, Shantelle (Dustin) Knott, Wanamingo; son, Trey (Kaylee) Henning, Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren, Jayda, Teagan, Alexis, Ava, Rhodes and Wilder; and two brothers, Mark (Lisa) Staples, Slayton; and Dennis (Amy) Staples, Pipestone.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her father in law Verne and husband, Joe on February 19, 2019.

    A time of fellowship will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday, March 24, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian. Memorial service will be 7 pm Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home officiated by Monsignor Richard Colletti. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
